IKEA Selected K3 Retail Software for Global Franchise Network

K3 has announced they have been selected by IKEA to roll out K3’s Retail Software across all IKEA stores. This will make K3 IKEA’s sole outsourced provider of Retail Software packages for its entire franchise network across the globe.  The decision to make K3 partner of choice came after K3 Holland developed the IKEA Master Version of Microsoft Dynamics for ten IKEA franchises.

"Through our Dutch operations, K3 has a long standing relationship with IKEA, having developed, and owning the IP for, the IKEA Master Version of Microsoft Dynamics.  Over the years, this relationship has deepened as our ERP software has been implemented across Western Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia,” said Andy Makeham, Chief Executive of K3.

 This decision will allow IKEA to standardise its IT retail platform across all its stores.  According to K3; IKEA's decision to move all remaining franchisees to a standard ERP system means the likely extension of K3's retail software solution into new territories over the next 36 months.
