Hitachi Consulting UK said that they have implemented a Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP solution for Maxell Europe, along with ongoing Managed Services support. Hitachi Consulting has announced that they have expanded their formal arrangements to co-market Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise ERP solutions in addition to their Dynamics CRM collaborations. The two companies are also working together to establish cloud-based industry solutions and a two-tier ERP model, which offers multinational corporations the agility and affordability of a cloud-based ERP solution while integrating existing on-premise ERP systems. Today at the Government Finance Officers Association Annual Conference in the U.S., Microsoft highlighted new public sector capabilities in its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is expected to be generally available in August 2011.

Microsoft is promising easier implementation and less customisation with the new version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, due in August of this year. With inbuilt features for up to five industry sectors: manufacturing, professional services, distribution, public sector and retail, they promising less workaround.
