K3 Business Technology, the AIM listed company has sells enterprise resource planning software, hosting and managed services to the supply chain industry, has snapped up the Retail Merchandising Division of Azurri Computer Solutions Ltd. K3 is paying an initial £1.0 million in cash for the business with a further £0.5 million payable dependent on increases in gross margin generated by Azurri Retail over the next two years. Sage reseller partner FD Systems sold it Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions business to K3 making the fourth company acquired by KC3 over the last four months.  The acquisition of Clarita Solutions from FD Systems will boost K3 manage service business in the UK.

First it was Hampshire-based Sage reseller Panacea for £1.7m and FD Systems Sage 200-focused business unit for £1.25m before the end of last year.  Coming into this year it was Linby based Sense Enterprise Solution, a Dynamics AX solutions provider in a £2.45m deal. Read more »

K3 Business Technology has increased its Dynamics AX services with the acquisition of Linby based Sense Enterprise Solution in a £2.45m deal. K3 is one of the UK’s leading Microsoft Dynamics suppliers. Sense provides Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP technology to the manufacturing and distribution markets.

According to the news K3 will pay £1.2m on completion, with a further £350,000 being made in respect of surplus cash in the business at completion. An additional sum of £900,000 will be made if the acquired business hits performance targets. Read more »

K3 has announced they have been selected by IKEA to roll out K3’s Retail Software across all IKEA stores. This will make K3 IKEA’s sole outsourced provider of Retail Software packages for its entire franchise network across the globe.  The decision to make K3 partner of choice came after K3 Holland developed the IKEA Master Version of Microsoft Dynamics for ten IKEA franchises. K3, a Microsoft focused Business Technology specialist has announced a new Microsoft Dynamics CRM project with IMC, a European market leader in specialist commercial catering equipment. The new implementation will deliver enhancements to IMC’s sales, service and marketing capability. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution will also complement IMC’s extensive use of SmartVision, a manufacturing business software which was successfully implemented by K3 in 2005. Read more »
